LIBERATED ZONE is a web-like novel. It connects you to 1968, 1934, 2012, the civil rights and antiwar movements, sex, drugs, music, simple acts of courage, betrayal, and transformation.
Even better, you can respond as if the author were in the room.
For many of you, 1968 changed your lives before you were born.
You may wonder, What was it like then, how did it feel, what has it to do with me ...
... and who can I fully trust on the subject?
Well, you can't trust me, but the novel's free, and you can go on LZ Forum or lzone@liberatedzone.com and say your piece. Keep in mind the story mixes fiction, memoir, magic-realism, journalism, documents (true & false), and fantasy.
Greater 1968 and Greater 2012 have a lot in common. LZ the novel is forever unfinished, to be continued as we carry on the eternal struggle, and believe me, it's eternal.
PS: Kierkegaard (1813-55) wrote a great bumper sticker: Life can only be understood backward; but it must be lived forward. Combining them is what this novel tries to do.
Any resemblance to persons living or dead is likely, but not guaranteed.
